This confirms our proper interpretation earlier of Luke 17.21. Why? Because you’re in the kingdom as the kingdom is in you. Mark 4.11 is very, very helpful that way. And then in Luke 18.17, Voss makes this comment on that verse.

So, Luke 18.17 brings in together the inward, the spiritual, the incremental, along with a decisive movement of entrance. So, it captures so much of that already realized presence and possession of the kingdom.

So, the point of Luke 18.21, it kind of brings together decisive entrance by faith, but a kind of ongoing participation in or apprehension of that kingdom by faith. It’s something that is received in an ongoing way by faith.
